Primrose 500 is cold pressed, solvent free oil from evening primrose seeds. Oenothera lamarchiana is a source of Gamma linolenic Acid (GLA). To ensure extra protection and product stability, Jarrow Formulas has added the antioxidant gamma tocopherol, a form of vitamin E.The fatty acid profile of Evening Primrose Oil is as follows:
GLA (18:3:6) 9%
Linoleic Acid (18:2:6) 73%
Oleic Acid (18:1:9) 7%
